From May 2025 we have two opportunities to gather on a Sunday, at 9am and 11am.

We meet at 8:30am for coffee and pastries, followed by a quieter, more reflective gathering from 9-10am.

At 11am we gather for lively sung worship. Emmanuel Kids runs for school years 1 - 6 during the message.

Our crèche and sensory room are available in both the 9am and the 11am.

We celebrate communion together twice a month.

Whether you’re new to the area, exploring faith, got questions or want to grow in your relationship with Jesus, we would love to have you join us either at our 9am (8:30am for coffee and pastries) or 11am!

We bring together teams of Christians aged 16+ from across the UK to deliver these programmes, training and equipping young people to share the love of Jesus as they have fun and grow in their faith together.

Emmanuel Missions 'Sunshine Centre' began in Saundersfoot where the beach mission has now been sharing the love of Jesus on the beach for over 65 years! Over the last few years we partnered with churches across the UK to deliver programmes in London, the Lake District (in 2023) and Pembrokeshire, reaching over 250 children each year.

Our vision is to develop new partnerships across Pembrokeshire and the UK in the coming years, training and equipping young people to reach out with the good news of Jesus! Check out our highlights video from summer 2023 below!

2026 Dates

We currently have 3 missions planned for summer 2026 and we'd love you to join us on team in one of the following locations:

Haverfordwest, Pembs (with Emmanuel): Sat 18th July - Fri 24th July.

East London (with St. Luke's): Sat 25th July - Fri 31st July.

Saundersfoot, Pembs (with The Bridge): Sat 1st - Fri 7th August.

What does being on team involve? 

Team members stay together for the week in accommodation provided by the local church, spending time in worship, prayer and learning from God’s Word. Team members receive teaching and training, workshopping ideas together before presenting a 'holiday club' style event either inside a church building or on the beach.

Where do I stay?

The team stay in basic accommodation provided by the local church. Camping mats and sleeping bags may be required.

What do I eat?

Meals are provided by the local church and local hosts.

What does it cost?

Emmanuel Missions runs as a faith Mission. It costs about £50 a week to feed and accommodate each team member. With this in mind every team member and their sending church is encouraged to prayerfully and responsibly decide before God how much they should give.

Why should I come on team?

Throughout the week you will:

- Build relationships with other Christians from across the UK.

- Spend time learning from God's Word, listening to His voice,   worshipping Him with others and stepping out in faith.

- Be part of a team all working together to share the Good News of Jesus.

- Learn how to share the Good News clearly, both to a group and on a one-to-one basis.

- Learn how to tell the story of what Jesus has done in your life.

- Have an opportunity to grow in your relationship with God.

- Have fun!

Over the years many team members have given testimony as to how the experience of being on mission in this way has deepened their relationship with Jesus, and has equipped them to be actively involved in serving Jesus in their local churches. Some have even heard the call of God to enter full time ministry through their experience on team.

Walk Through the Bible

Our schools worker visits many local primary schools with the ‘Walk Through the Bible' programme.

Bibles for Children

As a church we support the giving of Bibles to our local primary schools through the charity Bibles for Children and distribute booklets to help their understanding through Tell the Story. 

Christian Union

We support the Christian Union in our local secondary school and every couple of years get involved with facilitating the GSUS Live programme from ‘Counties’ into our local secondary schools.

Christmas Experience

Last Christmas we invited our local primary school and local community to a ‘Christmas Experience’ including a Winter Wonderland, Santa’s Workshop and live animals as we travelled back in time to discover what Christmas is really all about.

Ladies Prayer Morning

Wednesdays at 10:30am.

Every week a small group of women gather for gentle fellowship, teaching and prayer. All welcome!

Collective Prayer

1st and 3rd Tuesday at 7:30pm

Join us as we pray for each other and for the world.

Prayer Breakfast

Usually first Saturday of the month at 7:30am

Time to pray together in person, followed by a great breakfast and work party for those who wish to help.

SPACE

At various points throughout the year we create space to seek God together in special evening gatherings. For more information please check out our church calendar.

Each year we gather together for special seasons of focused 24-7 prayer to pray ‘Your Kingdom Come.’ For more information please check out our church calendar.
